Owner, Eagle Eye Painting
Meet Dan Scott
For Dan Scott, painting has never been just about applying color to a home; it’s about earning trust.
As the founder of Eagle Eye Painting, Dan has spent more than two decades building a reputation throughout Northern California for quality workmanship, honest communication, and standing behind every project his team completes. Since establishing Eagle Eye Painting in Redding in 2008, he has remained committed to treating every home and business with the same level of care and attention he would expect for his own.
Dan’s path to becoming a painting contractor wasn’t conventional. A standout golfer from Redding, he earned a golf scholarship to the University of California, Davis, where he developed the discipline, preparation, and attention to detail required to compete at a high level. During college, he discovered the painting industry and was fortunate to be mentored by an experienced contractor who taught him that lasting success comes from mastering the fundamentals. Not taking shortcuts.
Those lessons have shaped the way Dan leads Eagle Eye Painting today.
He believes preparation determines results. Just as golfers spend countless hours practicing before stepping onto the course, every successful paint project begins long before the first brush or sprayer is used. Thorough preparation, careful planning, quality materials, and attention to detail are what create finishes that stand the test of time.
Dan also believes integrity is measured by what happens after the job is complete. If a customer has a concern, he believes in answering the phone, taking ownership, and making things right. That commitment to service has helped Eagle Eye Painting grow almost entirely through referrals and repeat customers throughout the North State.
When he’s not leading Eagle Eye Painting, Dan continues to stay connected to the game of golf by supporting junior golfers and mentoring aspiring players. The same principles that guided him as a competitive athlete — discipline, humility, continual improvement, and respect for others — continue to guide the culture of Eagle Eye Painting today.
Whether the project is a family home, a commercial property, or a historic building, Dan believes every customer deserves clear communication, dependable service, and craftsmanship they can take pride in for years to come.

Our goal isn’t simply to paint your property. It’s to earn your trust and become the painting company you’ll confidently recommend to your family, friends, and neighbors.
